Halada Sensei is available
by appointment for workshops, group lessons, lectures,
and calligraphy demonstrations.
Where are trial sessions and private
sessions held?
All private Shodo sessions (trials
included) are held at Halada Sensei's office, located at 18th Street
and Northern Avenue in Phoenix (exit at Northern Avenue from the
SR-51 freeway).
How much do Halada Sensei's classes cost?
The cost of the initial trial session
is $48. Class prices thereafter will be discussed prior to enrollment
in Sensei's weekly private session courses.
Will Shodo supplies be provided during
the classes?
Sensei will provide all of the art supplies and other
materials you will need during the trial session (e.g., sumi, practice
paper, brush, ink tray, etc.). Should you decide to enroll in private
sessions after the trial, you will be responsible for purchasing
your own Shodo supplies.
Where can I purchase Shodo supplies?
For your convenience, supplies may be purchased from
Sensei for a nominal fee. Halada Sensei recommends buying the supplies
directly from her. Because Sensei wants her students to be able to use the
correct shodo supplies, she has them available for purchase in her
office.
How do students have profound
spiritual breakthoughs as a result of Halada Sensei’s classes?
In addition to teaching and
assigning spiritual homework, Sensei also offers divine purification
energy as a gift to her students during each session. This energy
helps students attain divinity and gain spiritual strength while
learning Shodo. Receiving this energy has been shown to have a significant
positive effect on students' lives. For more information, see the
testimonial page.
